What is not on this list
No advertising network, no data broker, no marketing platform, and no analytics service beyond the one named above. The list is short because the app does very little that requires a server: charts are calculated on your device, so most of what a comparable product sends away, this one never sends at all.
Transfers
We are established in United States, so data about people in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom is transferred out of those places to reach us. Those transfers rely on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses and, for the United Kingdom, the addendum to them. The same clauses cover any processor above that holds data outside the EEA.
Changes
If we add a processor that handles your data, we will say so here and by email before it starts. If you have a data processing agreement with us, that is a contractual commitment rather than a courtesy.
The app stores
After launch, Apple and Google handle subscription billing. They are the sellers for those transactions and process your payment details under their own terms, not ours — we receive only the fact that a subscription exists and when it expires.
